Background of the Study

Managerial accounting practices are crucial for the growth and sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In Chikun LGA, SMEs form the backbone of the local economy, contributing to job creation and economic development. However, many SMEs struggle with financial inefficiencies due to a lack of proper financial management tools. Managerial accounting practices such as cost analysis, budgeting, and performance evaluation can help these businesses improve profitability, reduce costs, and make informed decisions. This study explores how managerial accounting practices contribute to SME growth in Chikun LGA.
