Background of the Study
Public trust in government is a vital aspect of governance, and one of the primary factors influencing this trust is the effective and transparent use of tax revenues. In Tambuwal LGA, concerns about the misuse or inefficient allocation of tax revenues have led to skepticism among taxpayers regarding the benefits of their contributions. This study aims to assess the level of public trust in government based on the utilization of tax revenues, focusing on whether taxpayers believe their tax payments are being used effectively for public goods and services.
Statement of the Problem
Despite the critical role of tax revenues in the development of Tambuwal LGA, there is a lack of public trust regarding how these funds are used. H₀: Strategies to improve tax revenue management will not significantly increase public trust in the government in Tambuwal LGA.
