Cultural dances are vital elements of traditional events, serving as both entertainment and expressions of cultural identity. These dances often narrate stories, celebrate communal achievements, and reflect the history of a people. In Potiskum Local Government Area, cultural dances are integral to events such as weddings, festivals, and coronation ceremonies, acting as a unifying force within the community. According to Yusuf and Abubakar (2024), cultural dances enhance the visual appeal and emotional connection of events, drawing greater participation from attendees.
