Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Corporate events play a crucial role in fostering business relationships, promoting organizational goals, and enhancing professional development. In Lokoja LGA, a growing hub for business activities in Kogi State, corporate events such as conferences, seminars, and product launches are increasingly common. However, organizing such events involves navigating numerous challenges, including logistical complexities, budget constraints, and stakeholder coordination. This study aims to describe the challenges faced by event organizers in Lokoja LGA and provide insights into how these challenges can be addressed to improve corporate event management.
