Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Transparency in local governance is fundamental to fostering trust, accountability, and effective service delivery. In Keffi LGA, Nasarawa State, the absence of open communication and citizen engagement has often hindered governance processes. Public Relations (PR) strategies can address these gaps by promoting transparency through stakeholder dialogue, media engagement, and information dissemination.
