Chapter One: Introduction

Television news serves as a vital platform for promoting democratic governance by informing citizens, fostering transparency, and encouraging public participation. In Ilorin North LGA, Kwara State, television broadcasts on governance issues have been instrumental in shaping public opinion and holding leaders accountable.
