Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Sports events have long been recognized as powerful tools for fostering regional unity by bringing together people from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. In Yola North LGA, Adamawa State, sports events such as football tournaments, athletic meets, and traditional games play a pivotal role in promoting interactions among residents.
