Background of the Study
Financial literacy is an essential skill for individuals and households to make informed financial decisions, including budgeting, saving, and managing debt. In Funtua LGA, many households struggle with budgeting due to a lack of financial knowledge and skills, resulting in poor financial management, debt accumulation, and insufficient savings. This study explores the effect of financial literacy on household budgeting in Funtua LGA, focusing on how financial knowledge influences the ability of households to create and maintain effective budgets.

Statement of the Problem
Despite the importance of financial literacy in personal finance management, a significant number of households in Funtua LGA lack the necessary skills to effectively manage their finances. This results in poor budgeting practices, leading to financial instability. This study seeks to assess the impact of financial literacy on household budgeting practices in Funtua LGA.

Aim and Objectives of the Study
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of financial literacy on household budgeting in Funtua LGA. The specific objectives are:

Research Hypotheses

Significance of the Study
