Background of the Study
State-owned enterprises (SOEs) are important players in Nigeria's economy, often responsible for providing essential public services and contributing to national development. However, many SOEs in Nigeria have been criticized for poor financial transparency, which leads to inefficiencies, corruption, and public distrust. Statement of the Problem
