MEDIA COVERAGE AND PUBLIC PERCEPTION OF THE ENDBADGOVERNANCE PROTESTS IN NIGERIA.
Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Media coverage plays a pivotal role in shaping public perception, especially during significant social movements such as protests. The EndBadGovernance protests in Nigeria, which began in 2024, are a case in point where media portrayal significantly influenced public understanding and sentiment towards the demonstrations.
