Abstract: This study explores the impact of mentorship programs on adult education, focusing on how mentorship enhances learning outcomes for adults. The objectives were to assess the effectiveness of mentorship in supporting adult learners, to identify the key factors that contribute to successful mentorship experiences, and to evaluate the challenges faced by mentors and mentees. A survey research design was utilized to gather data from participants involved in mentorship programs, providing comprehensive insights into their experiences. A sample size of 300 adult learners was selected for robust analysis. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals actively participating in mentorship initiatives. The case study was conducted in Enugu, Nigeria, where mentorship programs are increasingly prioritized. Findings indicated that mentorship significantly enhanced learning outcomes by providing personalized support and guidance, which improved academic performance and retention rates among adult learners. However, challenges such as mentor availability and matching processes were identified. The study recommended expanding mentorship programs and providing training for mentors to ensure effective support for adult learners.
