Abstract: This research investigates the impact of blended learning on adult education, focusing on its effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes through the integration of online and face-to-face instruction. The study aimed to evaluate the benefits of blended learning, to identify the most effective strategies for implementing blended learning, and to assess the challenges faced by adult learners in blended environments. A survey research design was employed to collect data from participants in blended learning programs, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of their experiences and outcomes. A sample size of 320 adult learners was selected to ensure a diverse representation. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals who have participated in blended learning. The case study was conducted in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, where blended learning is being increasingly adopted. Findings indicated that blended learning significantly improved learning outcomes, with participants reporting greater flexibility and improved engagement. However, challenges such as technological barriers and varying levels of digital literacy were identified. The study recommended enhancing technological infrastructure and providing digital literacy training to support blended learning initiatives.
