Abstract: The topic of this research is the impact of pedagogical approaches on adult education. This study aimed to examine how different teaching methods affect the effectiveness and outcomes of adult education programs. The objectives were to assess the impact of various pedagogical approaches on learning outcomes, to evaluate the effectiveness of different teaching strategies in engaging adult learners, and to identify best practices for implementing pedagogical approaches in adult education. A survey research design was employed to gather data from educators and learners across various adult education programs, providing insights into the effectiveness of different teaching methods. A sample size of 310 participants, including adult learners and educators, was selected to ensure comprehensive data collection. The purposive sampling technique was used to focus on individuals with experience in diverse pedagogical approaches. The case study focused on pedagogical practices in Imo, Nigeria. Findings revealed that innovative and learner-centered pedagogical approaches significantly enhanced learning outcomes and engagement. The study recommended adopting a range of pedagogical strategies tailored to adult learners' needs to maximize educational effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
