Abstract: This research examines the impact of learning disabilities on adult education. The study aimed to investigate how learning disabilities influence adults' experiences and outcomes in educational settings. The objectives were to assess the effects of learning disabilities on academic performance and participation, to evaluate the effectiveness of support services in addressing these disabilities, and to identify strategies for improving educational experiences for affected individuals. A survey research design was utilized to gather data from adult learners with learning disabilities, as it provides a broad view of the challenges and support mechanisms in place. A sample size of 260 adult learners with identified learning disabilities was selected to ensure a representative understanding. The purposive sampling technique was used to focus on individuals with documented learning disabilities. The case study focused on learning support initiatives in Enugu, Nigeria. Findings indicated that learning disabilities significantly impacted academic performance and engagement, though effective support services improved educational outcomes. The study recommended enhancing support services, including individualized learning plans and specialized resources, to better accommodate and support learners with disabilities.
