Abstract: The impact of adult education on social mobility is a critical area of research in understanding how education can serve as a catalyst for economic and social advancement. This study aimed to explore the role of adult education in enhancing individuals' social mobility. The objectives were to evaluate the correlation between adult education and income levels, analyze the impact on employment opportunities, and examine changes in social status following educational attainment. A survey design was chosen to facilitate the collection of quantitative data from a large group of participants, enabling a comprehensive analysis of the effects of adult education. The sample size comprised 170 adult learners, selected through purposive sampling to include individuals who have experienced changes in their social and economic status. The research was conducted in Ogun, an area known for its diverse economic activities and educational programs. The findings revealed that adult education significantly contributed to social mobility, with participants reporting higher income levels, better job opportunities, and improved social status. It was recommended that adult education programs be expanded and tailored to meet the specific needs of learners to maximize their impact on social mobility.
