Abstract: The impact of adult education on reducing poverty levels is a significant topic, especially in regions with high poverty rates. This study investigated how adult education programs contribute to poverty reduction in Delta, Nigeria. The objectives were to evaluate the effectiveness of adult education in enhancing employability, to assess its role in income generation, and to measure its impact on overall poverty levels. A survey research design was utilized to collect detailed data on participants' educational experiences and economic outcomes. The sample size consisted of 220 adults, selected through purposive sampling to ensure they had participated in adult education programs. The case study was conducted in several adult education centers in Delta, known for their focus on economic empowerment. Findings revealed that adult education significantly improved employability, increased income generation, and contributed to reducing poverty levels among participants. Recommendations included expanding adult education programs, integrating them into poverty alleviation strategies, and providing support services to enhance educational outcomes.
