Abstract: The impact of vocational training on adult economic empowerment is essential in addressing unemployment and economic disparity. This study sought to (1) investigate the role of vocational training in enhancing employability among adults, (2) assess the improvement in income levels post-training, and (3) explore the broader economic impacts on the community. A survey research design was adopted, with a sample size of 180 participants who had completed vocational training programs. Purposive sampling ensured that participants were selected based on their engagement in vocational training initiatives. The case study was focused on Anambra State. The findings indicated that vocational training significantly improved the employability and income levels of participants, thereby contributing to economic empowerment and community development. Recommendations included increasing funding for vocational training programs and fostering partnerships with industries to ensure the relevance and quality of training provided.
