Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF SUPPLY CHAIN RISK MANAGEMENT ON BUSINESS CONTINUITY
The objective of this study is to examine the influence of supply chain risk management on business continuity, focusing on its impact on risk mitigation, operational stability, and overall business resilience. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 330 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Enugu, focusing on a pharmaceutical company with a robust supply chain risk management strategy. The reliability coefficient score of 0.88 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings reveal that effective supply chain risk management significantly enhances business continuity by mitigating risks and ensuring operational stability. Recommendations include implementing comprehensive risk management strategies and regularly reviewing their effectiveness.
