Abstract: THE IMPACT OF SUPPLY CHAIN VISIBILITY ON LOGISTICS PERFORMANCE
The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of supply chain visibility on logistics performance, focusing on its effects on transparency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 320 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is conducted in Uyo, focusing on a retail company with advanced supply chain visibility solutions. The reliability coefficient score of 0.87 indicates high reliability. Findings reveal that enhanced supply chain visibility significantly improves logistics performance by increasing transparency, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Recommendations include investing in supply chain visibility technologies and continuously monitoring their impact on logistics performance.
