Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF GLOBAL TRADE POLICIES ON SUPPLY CHAIN LOGISTICS
This study examines the influence of global trade policies on supply chain logistics, focusing on their impact on import/export operations, costs, and overall logistics performance. A survey design is selected for its ability to gather quantitative data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 330 respondents is determined to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Port Harcourt, focusing on a logistics company engaged in international trade. The reliability coefficient score of 0.88 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings indicate that global trade policies significantly influence supply chain logistics, affecting import/export operations and costs. Recommendations include staying informed about global trade policies and adapting logistics strategies to comply with regulatory requirements.
