Abstract: THE IMPACT OF LOGISTICS AUTOMATION ON OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
This study investigates the impact of logistics automation on operational efficiency, focusing on its effects on process speed, accuracy, and cost reduction. A survey design is employed for its ability to gather quantitative data from a broad range of respondents. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 320 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Kano, focusing on a logistics company that has implemented extensive automation. The reliability coefficient score of 0.87 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that logistics automation significantly enhances operational efficiency by increasing process speed, improving accuracy, and reducing costs. Recommendations include investing in advanced automation technologies and training staff to effectively utilize these systems.
