Abstract: THE ROLE OF JOB FAIRS IN RECRUITMENT

This study aims to explore the role of job fairs in recruitment, focusing on their impact on candidate attraction, application rates, and overall recruitment outcomes. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. A sample size of 300 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Lagos, targeting a large manufacturing company that regularly participates in job fairs. The reliability coefficient score of 0.85 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that job fairs significantly enhance candidate attraction and application rates, improving overall recruitment outcomes. Recommendations include actively participating in job fairs and utilizing them as a strategic tool for recruitment.
