Abstract : THE IMPACT OF RECRUITMENT POLICIES ON ORGANIZATIONAL DIVERSITY
The objective of this study is to examine the impact of recruitment policies on organizational diversity, focusing on their effects on workforce composition, innovation, and overall business performance. A survey design is selected for its ability to gather quantitative data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 320 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Uyo, focusing on a financial institution with comprehensive diversity-focused recruitment policies. The reliability coefficient score of 0.86 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings reveal that effective recruitment policies significantly enhance organizational diversity, leading to increased innovation and improved business performance. Recommendations include implementing and regularly reviewing diversity-focused recruitment policies and providing training on diversity and inclusion for HR personnel.
