Abstract : THE INFLUENCE OF ONBOARDING PROGRAMS ON RECRUITMENT EFFECTIVENESS
The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of onboarding programs on recruitment effectiveness, focusing on their impact on employee retention, job satisfaction, and overall recruitment success. A survey design is selected for its ability to gather quantitative data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 300 respondents is determined to ensure statistical significance. The case study is based in Enugu, focusing on a logistics company with a comprehensive onboarding program. The reliability coefficient score of 0.85 suggests high reliability. Findings reveal that effective onboarding programs significantly enhance recruitment effectiveness by improving employee retention and job satisfaction. Recommendations include investing in comprehensive onboarding programs and regularly collecting feedback to identify areas for improvement.
