Abstract : THE INFLUENCE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN RECRUITMENT PROCESSES
This study investigates the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruitment processes, focusing on its impact on efficiency, candidate selection, and overall recruitment outcomes. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting quantitative data from a broad range of respondents. A sample size of 350 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Port Harcourt, targeting a technology company that extensively uses AI in recruitment. The reliability coefficient score of 0.90 suggests high reliability. Findings indicate that AI significantly enhances recruitment efficiency and candidate selection accuracy, improving overall recruitment outcomes. Recommendations include investing in AI technologies for recruitment and training HR personnel to effectively utilize AI tools.
