Abstract: THE IMPACT OF CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE ON RECRUITMENT SUCCESS

This study aims to investigate the impact of candidate experience on recruitment success, focusing on its influence on application rates, candidate quality, and overall recruitment outcomes. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting quantitative data from a large sample. A sample size of 340 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Abuja, targeting a multinational corporation known for its focus on candidate experience. The reliability coefficient score of 0.88 suggests high reliability. Findings reveal that positive candidate experiences significantly enhance recruitment success, increasing application rates and improving candidate quality. Recommendations include investing in improving candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and regularly collecting feedback from candidates to identify areas for improvement.
