THE ROLE OF STRATEGIC PLANNING IN ADMINISTRATIVE EFFECTIVENESS
Abstract: The objective of this research is to explore the role of strategic planning in enhancing administrative effectiveness, focusing on how strategic approaches improve administrative tasks. A survey research design was selected for its ability to gather broad-based quantitative data. Using Taro Yamane’s formula, a sample size of 370 administrative staff from a tech company in Lagos was determined. The survey instrument’s reliability coefficient score was 0.90, indicating strong reliability. Findings reveal that strategic planning significantly improves administrative effectiveness by providing clear direction and objectives. The study recommends incorporating strategic planning training into administrative development programs to enhance overall performance and efficiency.
