THE INFLUENCE OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS ON ADMINISTRATIVE EFFECTIVENESS
Abstract: This research aims to examine the influence of conflict resolution skills on administrative effectiveness, focusing on how the ability to manage and resolve conflicts impacts administrative roles. A survey design was employed, with a sample size of 370 administrative staff from a government agency in Abuja, determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.88, indicating high reliability. Results indicate that strong conflict resolution skills significantly enhance administrative effectiveness by maintaining a harmonious work environment and improving team dynamics. The study recommends regular conflict resolution training and workshops to equip administrative staff with the necessary skills to handle conflicts efficiently.
