THE IMPACT OF DECISION-MAKING SKILLS ON ADMINISTRATIVE PERFORMANCE
Abstract: This study investigates the impact of decision-making skills on administrative performance, aiming to identify how effective decision-making enhances administrative tasks. A survey research design was utilized, involving a sample size of 370 participants from an energy company in Sokoto, determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.88, indicating high reliability. Findings suggest that strong decision-making skills significantly improve administrative performance by enabling quick and effective resolution of issues. The study recommends incorporating decision-making training into administrative development programs to improve overall performance and efficiency in administrative roles.
