THE ROLE OF MULTITASKING IN ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES
Abstract: The objective of this study is to explore the role of multitasking in administrative roles, assessing how the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously affects administrative efficiency. A survey design was employed, with a sample size of 350 administrative staff from a logistics company in Uyo, derived using Taro Yamane’s formula. The survey’s reliability coefficient score was 0.86, indicating good reliability. Findings reveal that effective multitasking significantly enhances administrative productivity and time management. The study recommends the development of multitasking training programs and the implementation of strategies to manage multitasking efficiently, ensuring it leads to positive outcomes rather than burnout.
