THE IMPACT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS ON ORGANIZATIONAL EFFICIENCY
Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the impact of administrative skills on organizational efficiency, focusing on how proficiency in administrative tasks can enhance overall productivity and streamline processes. The research design employs a survey method, deemed appropriate for its ability to gather large amounts of data from diverse respondents and provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Using Taro Yamane’s formula, a sample size of 400 participants was determined to ensure statistical significance and reliability of the results. The case study focuses on a financial services company in Lagos, where administrative skills are crucial for maintaining operational efficiency. The reliability coefficient score for the survey instrument was calculated at 0.89, indicating a high level of consistency. Findings revealed that administrative skills significantly improve organizational efficiency, particularly in areas of task coordination and time management. The study recommends continuous training and development programs to enhance administrative competencies, which in turn could lead to substantial improvements in organizational performance.
