This study examines the influence of data protection policies on business operations. Objectives include identifying critical data protection policies, assessing their effectiveness, and evaluating their impact on operational efficiency. A survey design is employed to gather broad-based data from various industries. The sample size, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, includes 340 respondents, ensuring a representative sample. The research focuses on the financial services sector in Lagos, a critical area for data protection. The reliability coefficient score for the survey instrument is 0.87, indicating high reliability.
