Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICIES ON BUSINESS SUCCESS
The study examines the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies on business success. Objectives are to identify effective CSR policies, evaluate their impact on business performance, and assess their role in enhancing corporate image. A survey design is employed to gather broad-based data from various stakeholders. The sample size of 340 respondents, determined using Taro Yamane's formula, ensures a representative sample. The study focuses on the hospitality industry in Lagos, known for its engagement in CSR activities. The reliability coefficient score for the survey is 0.87, indicating high reliability. Results indicate that well-implemented CSR policies significantly contribute to business success by improving customer loyalty and brand reputation. The study recommends that businesses should integrate CSR into their core strategies to achieve sustainable success.
