Abstract:
The objectives of this research are to (1) assess the impact of strategic knowledge management on organizational performance, (2) identify the key components of effective knowledge management systems, and (3) evaluate the role of knowledge sharing in enhancing performance. A survey design was chosen to collect comprehensive data from a large and diverse group of respondents. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 375 respondents was selected to ensure statistical significance. The study was conducted in the technology sector in Lagos, Nigeria, where knowledge management is critical. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.91. The findings revealed that strategic knowledge management significantly enhances organizational performance by promoting knowledge sharing, improving innovation, and supporting decision-making. Recommendations include developing comprehensive knowledge management frameworks, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, and investing in knowledge management technologies to enhance organizational performance.
