Abstract:
The objectives of this study are to (1) assess the impact of strategic leadership development on organizational success, (2) identify the key components of effective leadership development programs, and (3) evaluate the role of leadership development in fostering organizational resilience. A survey research design was chosen to collect comprehensive data from a large sample. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 365 respondents was selected to ensure statistical significance. The study was conducted in the healthcare sector in Lagos, Nigeria, known for its leadership challenges. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.89. The findings revealed that strategic leadership development significantly enhances organizational success by improving leadership capabilities, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring effective succession planning. Recommendations include investing in comprehensive leadership development programs, providing continuous learning opportunities for leaders, and fostering a supportive environment for leadership growth.
