Abstract: This study investigates the impact of environmental factors on project management, aiming to: 1) identify key environmental factors that influence project management, 2) evaluate the impact of these factors on project outcomes, and 3) recommend strategies for mitigating negative environmental impacts. A survey design was utilized to collect data from project managers and environmental specialists. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 350 respondents was determined, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The study was conducted in the construction sector in Abuja, where environmental factors significantly impact projects. The reliability coefficient score of the survey instrument was 0.89, indicating high reliability. Findings revealed that environmental factors such as regulatory changes, climate conditions, and socio-economic factors significantly influence project management. Recommendations include adopting adaptive project management practices, conducting thorough environmental impact assessments, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to address environmental challenges.
