This research examines the influence of leadership styles on business performance. Objectives are: (1) to assess the impact of different leadership styles on organizational productivity, (2) to analyze the relationship between leadership and employee morale, and (3) to identify best practices for effective leadership. A survey design is chosen to collect data from a large number of respondents. Using Taro Yamane's formula, the sample size is 340, ensuring comprehensive data collection. The study focuses on the financial services sector in Lagos, Nigeria, where leadership plays a crucial role. The reliability coefficient score is 0.87, indicating high consistency. Findings show that transformational and participative leadership styles significantly enhance business performance by boosting employee morale and productivity. Recommendations include implementing leadership development programs that focus on transformational and participative skills to improve overall business performance.
