Abstract: THE ROLE OF FINTECH IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND MOTIVATION
Objective: This study aims to (1) investigate the role of financial technology (FinTech) in enhancing financial management practices and employee motivation, (2) identify key FinTech innovations that influence motivation, and (3) assess the long-term effects of FinTech adoption on organizational performance.
Research Design: A survey design was selected to collect detailed feedback from employees regarding their experiences with FinTech and its impact on financial management and motivation.
Sample Size: Utilizing Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 360 employees was determined, ensuring a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error.
Case Study: The research focused on the finance sector, where FinTech solutions are transforming traditional financial processes and employee roles.
Location: Abuja, a major financial center with a diverse financial services industry.
Reliability Coefficient Score: The survey instrument had a Cronbach's alpha score of 0.88, indicating high reliability.
Findings: FinTech innovations, such as automated financial reporting, digital payment solutions, and blockchain technology, significantly enhance financial management practices and employee motivation by improving efficiency, reducing errors, and enabling new career opportunities. Employees engaged with FinTech solutions demonstrated higher levels of job satisfaction and innovation.
Recommendation: Financial institutions should embrace FinTech innovations that streamline operations, empower employees with new skills, and enhance job satisfaction to drive motivation and organizational success.
