Background of the Study
Interactive digital resources, such as online simulations, virtual labs, and interactive e-books, have revolutionized the educational landscape by providing dynamic learning experiences. At Ambrose Alli University, these resources are integrated into the library system to enhance user experience (UX) and support academic exploration. The interactive nature of these digital tools not only facilitates deeper engagement with content but also stimulates critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students (Oghenekaro, 2023). By leveraging technology to create immersive learning environments, the library aims to offer a more engaging alternative to static text-based materials. The study investigates the extent to which interactive resources influence user satisfaction, usability, and overall academic performance. However, challenges such as varying levels of digital literacy, technical compatibility issues, and the need for continuous updates present obstacles to effective implementation (Ede, 2024). Statement of the Problem
Despite the introduction of interactive digital resources at Ambrose Alli University, students have reported mixed experiences. These inconsistencies adversely impact the overall UX and reduce the anticipated benefits of interactive content (Oghenekaro, 2023). Inadequate training and support further compound the problem, resulting in suboptimal engagement.
