Background of the Study
Interactive digital resources, such as online simulations, virtual labs, and interactive e-books, have revolutionized the educational landscape by providing dynamic learning experiences. At Ambrose Alli University, these resources are integrated into the library system to enhance user experience (UX) and support academic exploration. The interactive nature of these digital tools not only facilitates deeper engagement with content but also stimulates critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students (Oghenekaro, 2023). By leveraging technology to create immersive learning environments, the library aims to offer a more engaging alternative to static text-based materials. The study investigates the extent to which interactive resources influence user satisfaction, usability, and overall academic performance. However, challenges such as varying levels of digital literacy, technical compatibility issues, and the need for continuous updates present obstacles to effective implementation (Ede, 2024). This research aims to evaluate user experiences, gather feedback, and provide recommendations to optimize the integration of interactive digital resources, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the academic community (Osamwonyi, 2025).
Statement of the Problem
Despite the introduction of interactive digital resources at Ambrose Alli University, students have reported mixed experiences. While some users appreciate the interactive elements, others face difficulties related to system navigation, technical glitches, and insufficient support. These inconsistencies adversely impact the overall UX and reduce the anticipated benefits of interactive content (Oghenekaro, 2023). Inadequate training and support further compound the problem, resulting in suboptimal engagement. This study seeks to identify the core issues affecting the usage of interactive digital tools and assess their impact on learning outcomes, ultimately aiming to propose improvements for a more consistent and user-friendly experience (Ede, 2024).

Significance of the Study
This study is significant as it examines the role of interactive digital resources in enhancing the academic experience. Its findings will inform library administrators on optimizing digital content and support structures, thereby improving user satisfaction and academic performance through enhanced interactivity (Osamwonyi, 2025).
Scope and Limitations of the Study:
The study focuses on interactive digital resources at Ambrose Alli University and does not extend to traditional or offline library resources.
